This mandrel was made to hold Mazda clutch plate in lathe.

............................

Mazda plate was turned down 3/8" in diameter to fit Saturn clutch. The cutting tool was a 4" angle head grinder. Nasty job! But should be good enough for the stock (internal) 1.9 Saturn.

......................

Fuel lines at the tank. Tank is 5 gallons and the Fuel lines are 1/2 aluminum. One return and one feed.

......................

The 1st fuel filter is 40 micron.

......................

The electric pump is a 255 HP Walbro pump.

......................

The forward fuel lines. I'll need to splice in a 10 micron filter here.

....................

The Mallory 30 to 100 PSI pressure regulator.

....................

The driveline loop. It's amazing how these little things start to fill the car up. I can't image how the guys that build drop tank lakesters get everything in them.

....................

4 bar saftey straps. Probably didn't need these but the rule book said put these in.

....................

I made the plate for the helmet pad out of 3/16 mild steel for extra support for the roll cage to shoulder bar attachment.

....................

This view shows the helmet pad velcro attachment. A steering wheel pad used for the mandatory head rest pad. Got this idea from the #204 car. Thanks Denton.

Saturn crank pulley turned down with flats to bolt to and a little snout to register the trigger wheel with.

....................

Tech II trigger wheel. Machined trigger wheel to register to crank pully and drilled and tapped three holes in crank pulley to mount to three new holes in the trigger wheel.

....................

Just getting started on a piece of scrap aluminum for the sensor.

....................

Milling the sensor bracket. It only took 4 hours!

....................

The finished bracket. Some of this project has it's rewards. Making this was fun!

....................

The mounted sensor bracket attached to the front engine plate.
